The regular APA style is such an awful thing. I wish it would stop being the default mandated style in so many situations. I cannot understand the rationale for peppering a page with (Author, date). It totally distracts from the focus of the content.
There’s a reason we have nice things like the ability to make superscript numerals and footnotes.
